Ethmostigmus rubripes “Cape Gloucester”
Ethmostigmus rubripes is generally regarded as the largest centipede species is Australia growing to over 20cm, but a more conservative 12-15cm is a more common adult size.
These centipedes can be found Australia wide and in a large variety of habitats from deserts to rainforest.
This locale has a beautiful orange colouration with banding becoming more prominent towards the rear of the animal.
