Hadronyche versuta (Blue Mountains funnelweb)

Hadronyche versuta is a medium to large funnelweb species often building their burrow into decaying timber with their trip lines radiating from the entrance.  Found in the blue mountains and surrounding region in central East NSW

As with all funnelwebs a bite from this species can be very serious and would require immediate medical attention.  Only purchase this spider if you are a very experienced keeper 18 or older.
