Phlogius sp. (Proserpine)
Max size: 180mm
Distribution: Near the town of Proserpine, large coastal species likely a P. crassipes variant
Habitat: Opportunistic, often burrowing but have adapted well to human encroachment creating homes amongst clutter
Feeding: Appropriate sized feeder insects, medium crickets, woodies and BSF are ideal
Phlogius proserpine, a stunning crassipes locality, in many ways resembling the crassipes from Mackay and Sarina. With very little notable natural barriers between populations it is likely these are all synonymous, slight variations between locales but all belonging to one species.
