Selenotypus sp4 or Selenotypus species 4 is a locale of Selenotypus often found living alongside Phlogius strennus. This locality resembles Selenotypus platinum in many respects, with locales being in very close proximity it can be difficult to differentiate between them. Key features of the Selenotypus sp4 are the swollen tibia of the rear legs. They will also grow to a larger size than platinums and wont exhibit the same silvery post moult colourations.
